Trudy Ohnsorg presents “Air Be & Me: How being an Airbnb host can reaffirm our faith in the essential goodness of humanity and bring the world to our doors"

Saint Paul native Trudy Ohnsorg has traveled to many parts of the world, discovering Airbnb during a month in Costa Rica in 2012. When Trudy became an Airbnb host herself in 2015, it changed her life. According to Trudy, "Sharing your home is not just transactional - it can be transformational. You practice radical trust and kindness when you welcome strangers into your home and life.” Now an Airbnb Super Host, Trudy Ohnsorg has woven a charming introduction into the intrinsic rewards of home sharing.

Offering a unique blend of personal essays, interviews with Twin Cities Airbnb hosts (and candid comments from their guests), and gorgeous photos and illustrations, Air Be & Me is a refreshing break from the “get rich” books about Airbnb hosting, capturing the essence of “WHY” people choose to share their homes. In today's divided world, Air Be & Me shines a delightful light on the future of interpersonal connection in the sharing economy.

“At its heart, Air Be & Me is a celebration of how people roll out the welcome mat, come together and become a community.” -Singer Songwriter Ann Reed

“We are all connected, and these heartfelt stories remind us of that sacred truth.” -Bill Manahan, M.D.
