About the Author

Carol Falkowski loves meatloaf and is convinced that it needs a makeover to "spruce itself up a bit." To that end, she spent more than three years producing Meatloaf Outside the Pan. Falkowski was born, raised, and currently lives in Minnesota where the bitterly cold winters are long, and the meatloaves are many. With the two children now grown and with their own families, the Falkowski family household is still known for its exceptional home-cooked meals and enthusiastic entertaining. With this book, Falkowski combines her "outside-the-box" thinking with her cooking expertise to help propel meatloaf to higher acclaim. When she isn't preparing meatloaf for her dinner guests, Carol Falkowski has spent more than thirty years as a nationally recognized addiction expert.
