Description

Having survived a ghastly attack on his life and family, Alejandro takes his wife and son on vacation to Mexico where they plan to visit Copper Canyon. Their trip suddenly becomes a nightmare when on a field trip through the canyon trails they find a small indian girl with an infant close to death from dehydration. The little girl has burns in her arms and legs. The beautiful waterfall they were trying to reach deep in the canyon is no longer a priority. Speed is of the essence if they are going to save her and the infant. In an unrelated incident, an undercover DEA agent hears of a massacre perpetrated by the members of a cartel somewhere in the Canyon. Seeking to find out whether there's any truth to the rumors, the DEA agent and his Mexican counterpart go to a town near the Canyon where they hope to discover what actually happened. The discovery of a barely alive small girl gives credence to what the DEA agent heard. After meeting and convincing Alejandro to help them; they go on a search through the Canyon. Unbeknownst to Alejandro, the head of the cartel is also partner of the people that tried to kill him in Colombia. The cartel chief hears about the tourist that saved the girl and sends his thugs after him and his family. To make matters worse, Alejandro is separated from his wife and seven year old son. And he doesn't know whom to trust. There seems to be a turncoat within the government agencies in charge of thwarting the flow of drugs to the U.S.
