Description

Alabama is a biodiversity hotspot, ranking fourth in the country in overall species diversity. With over 4000 of these being plants, it is easy for educators and learners to get overwhelmed. Fortunately, you can get to know 140 of the most familiar trees, shrubs, and wildflowers -- including state flower Camellia -- with this beautifully illustrated collection. Especially useful is the map on the back panel featuring over 20 nature hotspots. Laminated for durability, this pocket folding guide is a valuable resource for educators, nature guides, naturalists, and botanists who want to get to know their patch better through plants. Made in the USA.
